Sam was born in Park City, Utah and was raised in a family of salesmen and entrepreneurs. His own sales career began when he was only seven and sold golf balls at the local golf course. Sam started and ran a D2D company called â€œThe Guttermanâ€ while in high school. Managing over 11 employees, who painted house addresses on curbs, Sam was able to gross more than $100,000 in sales. After high school, Sam began selling alarms D2D and became one of the best alarm reps. in the industry. In 2014 he was named top sales rep. of the year for Vivint, a home security company. Since 2016, Sam has been the VP of direct sales in the solar industry where he has successfully managed millions of dollars in revenue per month.
